Privacy policy

This page lists every piece of information the service collects about you, and nothing it does not collect. If something is not on this list, we do not have it.

1. What we collect

We ask for as little as an airline will accept.

1.1 What you enter

  • For each passenger: gender, age group, family name and given name, and a date of birth only when the airline requires one.
  • One email address for the whole order, and an optional note.
  • The route, the dates and the flight you chose.

1.2 Payment

Card numbers never reach our servers; the payment provider handles them. Of the card we keep only the brand and the last four digits. When you pay from a PayPal balance we keep neither.

1.3 Advertising and measurement

If you arrived from an advertisement, we keep the click identifier and the campaign values that were in the address you arrived on, together with the page you landed on and the site that sent you. We also keep a random identifier for your visit. We do not store your IP address with your order.

2. Why we use it

  • To place the reservation with the airline and to send you the reference and the confirmation file.
  • To answer you when you write about an order.
  • To keep accounting records and to detect fraudulent payments.
  • To tell which advertisements lead to orders.

3. Who we share it with

  • The airline or flight supplier: passenger names and the itinerary. We never send them your email address or phone number.
  • The payment provider: the amount and what it is for. They, not we, see your card.
  • The email provider: your address and the message we send you.
  • Advertising networks, for orders that came from an advertisement: a scrambled form of your email address and the click identifier, so the network can match the sale to its own click.
  • Google Analytics, when measurement is on: the pages you visit and the steps of the order you reach, never your name, your email address or your order. Pages about an order are not measured by it at all.

We do not sell your details, and we do not share them for anything outside this list.

4. How long we keep it

We keep an order while it is needed for accounting and for answering questions about it. After that, names and email addresses are replaced with anonymous values and the confirmation file is deleted; the figures needed for accounting stay. Technical logs that record an IP address are kept no longer than 30 days, and are never linked to an order.

5. Your rights

Write to support@example.com from the address you used for the order and ask for a copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion. We answer every request and tell you what we did. Deleting an order removes your name and address from it; the accounting record of the sale stays, without you in it.

6. Cookies

Where the law requires it, which today means visitors in the European Economic Area, a banner on your first visit asks before anything beyond the strictly necessary runs. Elsewhere, measurement is on from the start. Wherever you are, you can change your answer at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer.

  • Strictly necessary: keeps what you are typing, remembers the language you chose, and remembers for the length of your visit whether we must ask you first. Always on, because the site does not work without it.
  • Measurement: counts how many people reach each step of the order, in our own records and in Google Analytics. In the European Economic Area it is off until you turn it on, and until then Google receives only signals that set and read no cookies. Elsewhere it is on until you turn it off.

7. Contact
